Vermont's bucolic landscape has changed over the years with smaller numbers of dairy farmers, climate change needing new practices, different crops, now with a younger generation taking on the challenges. Established and emerging artists are invited to submit one or two pieces of artwork in any medium including photography capturing their view of Farms and Fields in any season.
This exhibit is scheduled for January 2024 through April 2024. The main requirement is that the work must be able to hang by wire on a gallery hanging bracket and not a photo picture frame hook.
Registration forms are due by December 22, 2023.
Please join the Town Hall Art Committee at a closing reception for the artists who have created the work for the current show “ Celebrate”.

Trees have often been a backdrop in works of art. This is an opportunity to put trees in the limelight, to celebrate all trees whether providing cool shade in the heat or the wonderful fruits of fall or the beauty of their majesty. Established and emerging artists are invited to submit one or two pieces of artwork in any medium including photography.

After a hectic election season rolling into the Holidays, it is time for serenity. However you envision what is serene or calming, emerging and established artists are invited to submit one or two pieces of artwork in any medium including photography for “Serenity”. This exhibit will run from January 2023 through April in the Jericho Town Hall as part of the Jericho Town Hall Art Project.

RETROSPECTIVE: The Works of Marcia Rosberg
Currently showing at the Jericho Town Hall is a retrospective of the work of Jericho artist Marcia Rosberg (1936--2021). Marcia was a long time resident of Jericho moving here in 1967. She had been an artist for an even longer time. Marcia often participated in the Town Hall art shows and we were glad when her family agreed to a showing of her work that spanned her career. Pieces are representative of her early years and up to the present.
Marcia considered herself a self taught artist with a lifetime of drawing and painting experience. But she also expanded her skills with classes from UVM and participated in the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson. She has exhibited extensively through out Vermont and received a number of awards.
TRACKS
Do you see tracks in the snow, railroad, a sporting event or even the tracings of an idea? Whatever “Tracks” calls to mind, established and emerging artists have summited artwork in many mediums including photography for “Tracks”.
The exhibit ran from January 2022 through April 2022 in the Jericho Town Hall.

Exhibit: When Art Meets Nature
The Essex Art League presents art by more than local 20 artists. Their original paintings and photographs are inspired by the various conserved lands of the Jericho Underhill Land Trust. Stop by during normal business hours to see our local community through the eyes of Vermont artists.
