DMV Registration Renewal Information

    Can I renew my Vehicle Registration at Town Hall?

    Yes, this service is being provided without an appointment needed. You do not need to be a Jericho resident to take advantage of this service.  

    As of November 1, 2023 the Department of Motor Vehicles will not be issuing stickers for the license plates that show the registration expiration date.

    What do I need to bring to renew my Vehicle Registration?

    Please bring the following items with you:
    • Preprinted DMV renewal notice you received in the mail from the DMV.  We can't process the renewal if it is over 2 months old.
    • check or money order made out to Vermont DMV for the registration fee amount listed on the renewal form.
    • $3.00 fee (check or cash) per vehicle, payable to the Town of Jericho

    Can I register a NEW vehicle at Town Hall?

    No. Unfortunately, we are not able to process new registrations, only renewals with the pre-printed renewal form that you received from the DMV. 
    If you have a situation that you did not register your car last year or the registration is more than 2 months expired, you will need to follow up with the DMV. 

    Can I renew my driver's license at Town Hall?

    No. Unfortunately, we do not offer services related to driver's license renewal.
