Cub Scout Pack 620

Steve Combs, Cubmaster

Cub Scout Pack 620, serving Jericho Elementary, Underhill I.D. and Underhill Central Schools, offers a family oriented program for boys in grades 1-5 that combines fun with educational activities and lifelong values.

We are chartered by the United Church of Underhill and proud to have been serving these communities since 1965.

In Cub Scouting, boys learn ideals like honesty, bravery, and respect. These values help boys make constructive decisions throughout their lifetimes and give them the confidence they need to grow and develop. In addition to traditional scouting advancement, there are also opportunities for Scouts to earn recognition awards for studies in their respective faith plus extra-curricular interests in sports and academics such as baseball, soccer, skiing, astronomy, computers, math and music.

Cub Scout Pack 620 has a strong tradition of service to the Jericho and Underhill communities and other local causes. We regularly serve our Jericho/Underhill Food Shelf, help to prevent child abuse in Vermont, and lead a partnership with other Cub Scout Packs to support Vermont Children’s Hospital.

At Girls on the Run Vermont, we believe that every girl deserves the opportunity to celebrate what makes her unique, to know that she matters, and to believe that her dreams are always within reach.

Girls on the Run is a non-profit with a mission to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident. By using an interactive curriculum that creatively integrates running, we help to positively impact girls in 3rd to 8th grade. In addition to the life-long lessons learned, the 10-week program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health, compassion, and community.

Girls on the Run is an Independent Council of Girls on the Run International, which has a network of over 225 councils across the United States and Canada.
