what is the next step in the process to conserve Mobbs
The Selectboard will ultimately approve the conservation transaction. If approved, the Selectboard post notice of their decision and voters would have the opportunity to submit a petition calling for a vote on the conservation question. If a petition is not filed in a timely manner, then the Selectboard’s approval stands and the transaction can close.

Currently LAB members are working on a Senate District map, which will be sent directly to the VT Senate, once they have voted to approve a map.
Erik Johnson (Selectboard)
His grandfather was in charge of buying Mobbs Farm with the goal of turning it into a landfill. That never came to pass, and Johnson is proud that he was on the Select Board when the property was permanently conserved.
Paula Carrier (Interim Town Administrator)
Her grandfather was the owner of the now-conserved Mobbs Farm, and she is thrilled that it has been preserved for future generations.
