Call to Artists: Trees for All Seasons

Trees have often been a backdrop in works of art. This is an opportunity to put trees in the limelight, to celebrate all trees whether providing cool shade in the heat or the wonderful fruits of fall or the beauty of their majesty. Established and emerging artists are invited to submit one or two pieces of artwork in any medium including photography.

This exhibit is scheduled from October 2023 through December 2023. The main requirement is that the work must be able to be hung on a gallery hanger system which does not accommodate a photo picture frame hanger.

The exhibit is one of an ongoing series of shows that are part of a collaborative effort between the Town of Jericho and a committee of volunteers involved in the arts. Committee members include: Catherine McMains, SelectBoard; Emilie Alexander, gallery owner and artists, Dianne Shullenberger and Carla Hochschild.
