The Town of Jericho is hiring! The Public Works Coordinator works under the supervision of the Town Administrator and in coordination with the Highway Department and Town Engineer to manage municipal infrastructure, and coordinate permitting and projects. The work of the Public Works Coordinator involves diverse administrative and technical tasks. Organizational, communication, and technical skills are required. The position requires a high degree of independence, initiative, sound judgment and professionalism. The Town of Jericho has decided to reappraise all property in the Town for the 2026 Grand List starting in 2024.

Jericho Town Wide Reappraisal

In early 2024, Jericho applied for and received a Bylaw Modernization Grant from the Vermont Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). . Throughout 2024, the Planning Commission (PC) will be working with David White from Sterling Mountain Community Planning and Design to review the Village Center (VCTR) zoning and Character Based Zone (CBZ) bylaws and identify areas for amendments. The Enabling Better Places document published by the DHCD will be used as a guide for the zoning amendments.
