Camp Ethan Allen Training Site (CEATS)

The Ethan Allen Firing Range, also referred to as the Camp Ethan Allen Training Site, resides on 11,219 acres of federal property licensed to the State of Vermont Military Department. The property encompasses parts of the towns of Jericho, Underhill, and Bolton. Range tours are offered occasionally to the public to share about the activities on the Range

The Ethan Allen Firing Range is home to the Army Mountain Warfare School, 3rd Battalion 172 Infantry, 86th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, and the Training Site Detachment. The Ethan Allen Firing Range is a major training facility which supports the Vermont National Guard, multiple military units, and law enforcement agencies all around the New England Area.

The Range also has a biathalon program where Army National Guard athletes train, which has produced several Olympians.
