Age Well serves many residents over the age of 60 in Jericho, with that number expected to increase as Vermont’s aging population grows. We offer care & service coordination; Meals on Wheels; community meals; wellness programs; social activities; transportation services; expertise on Medicare, insurance, and long and short-term care options; and a Helpline, 1-800-642-5119, to your residents. As a nonprofit, all of our services are provided free of charge.
Camp Ethan Allen Training Site (CEATS) is a Vermont National Guard installation located in Jericho, Vermont. It is the location of the Army Mountain Warfare School and the 86th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. We have a page on JIJ dedicated to CEATS, where you can learn about live fire dates and more. The entire Ethan Allen Firing Range is off limits to all non-military personnel at all times due to inherent safety risks. Notices will be provided to residents of Jericho in the "News" section of this page when provided by CEATS in advance notice of scheduled training. Chittenden East Youth Football Wolverines
The Chittenden East Youth Football Association, or CEYFA, is a Vermont not-for-profit organization founded for the purpose of promoting youth football, and operates a youth football program for Chittenden East area youth. Players that are eligible reside in the Towns of; Jericho, Underhill, Richmond, Westford, Bolton and Huntington. CEYFA is a member of the Northern Vermont Football League (NVYFL), an organization of 16 youth football teams from various towns in northern Vermont. NVYFL is a well-established and organized league with a governing board of directors and cooperative involvement of all team coaches. The league has a tradition of enthusiastic competition between youth teams, and offers an excellent venue for young athletes to experience football in an organized, safe environment.

The Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC) is one of eleven commissions serving Vermont municipalities. CCRPC operates under the Vermont Municipal and Regional Planning and Development Act (Title 24, Chapter 117, V.S.A.), conducts metropolitan transportation planning pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 134, and its adopted bylaws. By definition, a “region” consists of a group of contiguous municipalities which “constitute a logical geographic and coherent socio-economic planning area.” All municipalities, by law, are members of the Regional Commission, however active participation is voluntary.
Feeding Chittenden-formerly known as Chittenden Emergency Foodshelf
The Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf works to alleviate hunger by feeding people and cultivating opportunities. As the largest direct service emergency food provider in Vermont, CEFS serves over 12,000 people each year.
Chittenden Unit for Special Investigation
The Chittenden Unit for Special Investigations (CUSI) is a multi-agency task force providing criminal investigative services in response to reports of sexual assault, other serious sexual offenses and serious child abuse and neglect. As a collaborative unit, CUSI works in conjunction with the towns and local police agencies within the borders of Chittenden County, as well as with prosecutorial entities, medical experts, the Department for Children and Families, and Victim’s Advocate groups to better investigate, prosecute, and intervene in situations of abuse. CUSI operates on a referral process, and receives reports of sexual offenses or serious child abuse and neglect from partners throughout the state. In promoting professional collaboration among law enforcement agencies and victim care providers, CUSI prioritizes the multi-faceted needs of a child or adult victim. Within the community, CUSI promotes education, advocacy and awareness regarding the prevention of abuse at all levels. The Unit strives to perform its mission lawfully and with intelligence, dedication, fairness, compassion, and competence while insuring special sensitivity to the needs of victims.
CSWD provides information and educational tools to help community members learn how to best manage their solid waste needs.
Committee on Temporary Shelter (COTS)
COTS provides emergency shelter, services, and housing for people who are homeless or marginally housed in Vermont.
Cub Scout Packs
Cub Scouting offers a family oriented program for boys and girls in grades 1-5 that combines fun with educational activities and lifelong values. In Cub Scouting, boys learn ideals like honesty, bravery, and respect. These values help boys make constructive decisions throughout their lifetimes and give them the confidence they need to grow and develop. In addition to traditional scouting advancement, there are also opportunities for Scouts to earn recognition awards for studies in their respective faith plus extra-curricular interests in sports and academics such as baseball, soccer, skiing, astronomy, computers, math and music.

Based in Richmond, MMCTV provides ultra-local programming –including key local government meetings – by our staff and local producers 24/7. We primarily air our own programs and those of other PEG (Public, Educational, Government) access channels in Vermont and the country. We also provide training and equipment to individuals, schools and nonprofits in our area to produce shows to air on our station.
