Skunk Hollow Road paving project will begin sometime in August and the Town will give you more info as it gets closer.

Beginning in July and ending in mid-August (pending weather), Pike Industries will begin Skunk Hollow Road Improvements per the design/scope completed by East Engineering and coordinated with the Town of Jericho Highway Department. The area under construction will span from the section of Skunk Hollow, just below White Oak Drive on the Rt. 117 end, to #100 Skunk Hollow Rd—just below the highest point of the road heading NE toward Plains Rd. (continued below...)

Approximate work zone in orange

Preparation work will include culvert replacements, milling, 12" depth reclamation, base and surface pavement, as well as guardrail work, line striping, and shoulder work. Screened grindings will be installed directly adjacent to new pavement on the roadway shoulders, which will then transition to existing grade with topsoil/hydroseed A single lane for thru traffic will be open at all times (expect short delays) and two way traffic accommodated at the end of each workday.
