Jericho, Vermont - Updates and Upcoming Meetings/Events

Here are some updates that might interest you.

Town Clerk:

  • The Town Clerk’s Office will be open Saturday Feb 22nd from 10am to noon for early absentee voting, dog registration and other business.

  • Tuesday March 4th is Annual Town Meeting and School budget vote, 7am to 7pm at Mount Mansfield Union High School, 211 Browns Trace. This election is by paper ballot only.

Selectboard:

Select Board Public Hearing: Information on FY26 Budget 6pm at Town Hall and Zoom on Thursday February 20, 2025, at 6:00 PM The Town of Jericho SelectBoard will hold a public hearing on the proposed FY 2026 Budget. The hearing will take place at the Jericho Town Hall, located at 67 VT Route 15, Jericho, Vermont. The public is encouraged to attend and participate in the review of the proposed budget. Copies of the budget are available from the Town Administrator's office between 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM or can be accessed online (jerichovt.org/jericho-town-meeting-2-0) or below.

Planning Commission:

On February 18th at 7pm the PC meeting will include a public hearing on proposed changes to residential density and discussion on proposed changes to zoning that include how site plan and subdivision applications are reviewed. Mobbs Committee:

Special thanks to Christine and Dan Smith, who have been doing a fantastic job grooming the trails at Mobbs Farm with the SnowDog grooming machine.

Food Hub:

This March and April the food hub will be offering weekly workshops on a variety of topics of interest to gardeners, backyard farmers, and people in our community. Read more here.

Book Discussion:

The Sustainability Book Group has selected The Light Eaters by Zoe Schlanger as the next title for a discussion on Wednesday, March 5th at 7pm. Please sign up in advance so we can let the library know who might need a copy. Sustainability Book Chat sign up

Art at Town Hall:

The latest exhibit at Town Hall showcases images of “Town Meeting Day - Then and Now”. The display can be viewed during normal business hours in the Conference Room at Town Hall.
