Town Meeting Reimagined - Budget Discussion:

When: Thursday January 23, 2025 at 6pm

Where: MMU Auditorium (211 Browns Trace) and Zoom

There is also a community spaghetti dinner at 5pm (pre-registration required) and there will be volunteers from Town committees set up at tables outside the auditorium before the meeting.


Planning Commission:

The Planning Commission is wrapping up some projects this month.

  • The PC drafted zoning amendments to allow a new Town Highway Facility to be built at the same location as the current garage. The Selectboard adopted the new zoning at their January 16th meeting.
  • The PC also drafted zoning amendments to allow triplexes and quadruplexes to be built on the same size lot as single family and duplexes in certain zoning districts that are in or near the village areas and are intended as locations for more neighborhoods.
  • Last but not least, the PC submitted a report to the Selectboard to recommend continued investments and seeking grants for wastewater in Riverside and municipal water in Jericho Center.
  • Next, the PC will turn our attention toward additional zoning improvements for the Village Centers and for natural resource protection. We hope to have new zoning recommendations for the Selectboard's consideration in Spring and Summer 2025.


Mobbs Farm Committee:

Food Hub Task Force:

Join a discussion on climate change’s effects on food production, food-waste, and nutrition given by Jericho resident Rosemary Rochford on January 27th. Read more here: Food Hub Discussion


Book Discussion:
