The town has been discussing how each of the village centers are unique and perhaps should be considered differently when it comes to future development.

For example, growth opportunities may be more limited in Jericho Center because of the lack of a public water supply and it not being situated on a state highway.

The Planning Commission conducted a series of walking tours in the summer of 2022 through each of the village centers to learn more about each of the village centers from fellow town residents. The Jericho Center walk occurred on June 5. Riverside was in July and Jericho Corners in July. Ideas gathered from the Saturday walk are posted here. Some pictures from the day are on the right sidebar of this page.
