The town has been discussing how each of the village centers are unique and perhaps should be considered differently when it comes to future development.

For example, growth opportunities may be more limited in Jericho Center because of the lack of a public water supply and it not being situated on a state highway.

The Planning Commission is starting a series of walking tours this summer through each of the village centers to learn more about each of the village centers from fellow town residents. The Jericho Center walk occurred on Saturday June 5. Riverside will be on Saturday July 10 form 8:30 am - 10:00 am and Jericho Corners on Tuesday July 20, from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. Ideas gathered from the Saturday walk will be posted here. Some pictures from the day are on the right sidebar of this page.
