The SelectBoard is saddened to announce that the Town Administrator, Todd Odit, has accepted the offer to become Hinesburg’s first Town Manager. The SelectBoard congratulates him on his new challenge and wishes him well.
Todd during his tenure brought organization to the Town Hall and helped the Town move forward with the redevelopment of the sawmill property, master planning for roads, bike and pedestrian pathways as well as stormwater and best practices for gravel roads. He has been skilled in securing grants to significantly offset the cost to the Town to put in sidewalks, upgrade roads and stormwater projects contained in the master plans. His leadership also helped the Town respond to windstorm and flooding emergencies and secure FEMA funding. Todd during his 11 years also contributed in a myriad of ways in updating policies, procedures and the organization to facilitate a smooth-running Town Hall.
The Town has benefitted greatly by his time here. The SelectBoard continues to discussed transition planning and hiring processes.
