Green Up Day 2024 - May 4th
Pick up your Green Up trash bags and get out in your community on Saturday, May 4 to clean up your neighborhood roads and waterways. As a volunteer, you make a huge difference for our environment.
STEP 1: GRAB SOME GREEN BAGS
Green Up Day Bags available in advance at Jericho Town Hall and on Green Up Day at the Community Center.
STEP 2: TAKE YOUR FILLED BAGS TO THE TOWN GARAGE DUMPSTERS
On Green Up Day, the Town Garage, located at 510 Browns Trace, will be open from 9am to 2pm so you can drop off your green up day trash, scrap metal and tires that are found along the road side. Do not bring propane tanks. Leave them where they are and let the Town know about the location.
The Green Up Day Potluck Breakfast
Drop in to the Community Center in Jericho Center, 329 Browns Trace, between 8:30 am and 10:00 am to share breakfast with your neighbors before heading out to green up. Bring a dish to share. Coffee, tea and cold drinks will be provided.

Where did you Green up Jericho?
Place a pin on the map to show us where you participated in Green Up Day. You can also upload a picture to share with the community. This is also the spot where you can place a pin on the location where you found any large items such as tires and scrap metal. That will help us more easily locate them.
