Green Up day was Saturday May 30. Because of COVID-19 things looked a little different.
Green Up trash bags could still be picked up at Jericho Town Hall, Jericho Town Library, or the Community Center front steps. Follow this link to sign up on Sign Up Genius for a road segment. You don't need to sign up to green up!
There will not be a collection of Green UP Day trash this year, just throw it out with your regular trash. Leave behind large items such as tires and scrap metal but you can email concerns to jerichovermont@yahoo.com.

Below we have a great tool, "Green Up Spots," where you can place a pin on a map of where you greened up and post a picture. This is also where you can place a pin and a picture on the location where you find any large items. That will help us locate them at a later date. Below, there is another tool, "Your Green Up Photos," where you can upload your green up photos to share them with the Town.
Instead of the traditional community breakfast, the Town will join together at 2 pm for a town wide sing-a-long of all 6 verses of This Land is Your Land. Sing from your front porch to participate from your home.
This land is your land, and this land is my land From the California, to the New York Island From the Redwood Forest, to the Gulf stream waters This land was made for you and me
As I went walking that ribbon of highway I saw above me that endless skyway Saw below me the golden valley This land was made for you and me
I roamed and rambled, and I've followed my footsteps To the sparkling sands of her diamond deserts All around me a voice was sounding This land was made for you and me
When the sun come shining, then I was strolling And the wheat fields waving and the dust clouds rolling A voice was chanting as the fog was lifting This land was made for you and me
