Planning Commission
The Jericho Planning Commission (PC) is made up of seven volunteer-members appointed by the Select Board. We do our work through a lens which attempts to balance the public good with private rights and interests by listening to public input, researching issues and solutions, and following state and regional laws and guidelines. Jericho Center Walking Tour
CLOSED: This discussion has concluded.Jericho has 3 village centers, Jericho Center, Jericho Corners and Riverside. Each have their own unique characteristics, strengths, opportunities, issues of concerns and weaknesses. The Planning Commission is starting a series of walking tours this summer through each of the village centers to learn more.
- Jericho Center: Saturday June 5 from 8:30 am - 10:00 am
- Riverside: Saturday July 10 form 8:30 am - 10:00 am
- Jericho Corners: Tuesday July 20, from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Meet up at the Jericho Center Town Green. Parking is available along the green. Coffee and donuts will be provided. Please bring your own mug! We will walk toward the fire station and end there.

The PC will talk with MMU Student Council members about potential changes to the MMU school sign, hear from Lynette Claudon from DEC to discuss the Vermont Village Wastewater Initiative program, and they will also discuss walks around the three village centers.

April 20 Planning Commission Meeting

The PC talked with the Affordable housing Committee about inclusive zoning, discussed a walk around Jericho Corners, and continued to discuss PUDS.

Planning Commission Meeting March 16

The PC continued to talk about the next steps for updating the Public Works Specs, looked at next steps for enhanced energy planning, discuss PUDS and further discussed the 2024 update of the Town Plan.

Planning Commission Meeting March 2, 2021
CLOSED: This discussion has concluded.The Planning Commission Met March 2, 2021.
The PC elected officers and readopted their Rules of Procedure, talk about the next steps for updating the Public Works Specs, looked at energy constraints related to enhanced energy planning and begin discussions about updating the Town Plan.

Planning Commission Meeting February 16
