Planning Commission
The Jericho Planning Commission (PC) is made up of seven volunteer-members appointed by the Select Board. We do our work through a lens which attempts to balance the public good with private rights and interests by listening to public input, researching issues and solutions, and following state and regional laws and guidelines. Planning Commission Meeting - November 2

The PC is holding their meeting in person and via Zoom. Public comment at this meeting is welcomed and encouraged using the following methods:
- Attend the meeting in person at Town Hall. Pease note that masking is required for all public in Town Hall.

The PC will discuss zoning amendments related to affordable housing, specifically Accessory Dwelling Units, Planned Unit Developments, and updating the Zoning Use table. Click here to link to the draft zoning documents

The PC will first hear from a Jericho resident about residential water use issues. Next they will discuss zoning amendments related to affordable housing, specifically Accessory Dwelling Units, Planned Unit Developments, and updating the Zoning Use table.

The PC will hold a joint meeting with the Underhill Planning Commission. On the agenda is a discussion on current projects, a Q&A period and discussion of shared issues, such as Riverside/Underhill Flats and natural resources. Following the joint meeting the Jericho PC will meet for a bit to discuss pursuing an opportunity for a Bylaw Modernization grant for affordable housing,

Planning Commission Meeting September 21

The PC continued their discussions on affordable housing, including Planned Unit Developments, Accessory Dwelling Units, pursuing an opportunity for a Bylaw Modernization grant for affordable housing, amending the Use Chart for more flexibility of housing types, Inclusionary Zoning, and other general affordable housing zoning updates.

The PC debriefed from their walks through Riverside and Jericho Corners, discussed PUDs, brainstorm ideas for a Municipal Planning Grant, further discussed Accessory Dwelling Units and Inclusionary Zoning.

Planning Commission Jericho Corners Walk - July 20
CLOSED: This discussion has concluded.The Planning Commission has embarked on a series of walking tours this summer through each of the village centers to learn more about each from fellow town residents. The Jericho Center walk occurred on Saturday June 5 and Riverside was on Saturday July 10.
The Jericho Corners walk was on Tuesday July 20, from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. They meet up at Town Hall, including a stop by Jericho Corners' own Lucy & Howe Brewery(External link) for a tour and sampling of their fine beers. Ideas gathered from the July 20 walk will be posted on the Jericho Corners webpage. Ideas gathered from the other walks are posted on their project pages.
